Hydco® thermoplastic

Thermoplastic is a thermoplastic coating designed especially to enhance corrosion protection.

Examples of application:

The thermoplastic coating is used to be applied on the internal surfaces of high pressure pipes in order to prevent filters and valves from being blocked with zinc sludge. The thermoplastic coating is suitable for a fast and relatively inexpensive restoration of the coating, for corrosion protection of valves exposed to acids and alkali which eliminates use of stainless steel.

Advantages:

Absence of pollutant emission, not on the list of hazardous substances, a high elasticity and a high density, no corrosion gases, simple maintenance, a good weather effects stability, good electrical insulation properties, excellent tolerance against chemicals, such as alkali and acids, a high wear resistance. The coating thickness can be just a few millimeters.
